    Slow Logon With Mapped Net Drives

    JJB6486 posted a topic in Networking

    I have a assortment of mapped network drives to different computers on my network. If i logon to my local machine and one comptuer is not on, it takes a long time to log in. I remember Windows 98 having a option of either "Reconnect at Logon" or "Reconnect at first use", but i want it in XP too. Anyone know where it is? Thanks in advance JJB6486

    Windows XP doesn't offically support NetBEUI. Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on the NT4 machines, and they should see each other. JJB6486
