Am I asking too much of my PSU?

If you want to know how close you are to your PS limit then run a motherboard monitor program. Enable it to log the results for voltages as fast it will let you set it. Then start opening and closing cd trays, copying files, burn a cd , play games , etc. See how far the 3.3v, 5.0v and 12.0v drop. Specifications are that they should remain within 10% tolerance. 3.3v = 2.97 - 3.63 5.0v = 4.95 - 5.5 12.0V = 10.8 - 13.2 If its slightly over the limits I wouldn't worry, below them and I would be concerned.

    Xp drivers for Fasttrak66?

I know the tx4 will work and probably the fasttrak 66. I'm using the promise fasttrak100 lite version and the driver diskette I have looks to work for all the models. I got it from the www.soyousa.com Click support then drivers download, then scroll down till you see soyo K7v dragon+ Promise raid, click download and on next screen its got the drivers in various forms for the promise raid. I have the K7v under winxp and its working great with raid. Only problem was that the drivers on the cd that came with the MB were out of date. The ones on that site work fine.
