  1. I fixed the DOS sound problem with the VDMSound program, but now, I have another problem. The DOS programs won't stay maxmimized! After starting the program, it runs normally for a second, then it switches back to Windows XP as if I hit Alt+Tab or something (which I didn't at all). I can still restore the program, but couple of seconds into the program, it switches back to Windows XP! It's like XP wants to run these programs in windows rather than full-screen (I did click "Full-Screen" under "Screen" and it still does the same thing!). I can't play the game because every few seconds I have to "switch" back to the DOS program - it's driving me nuts! If anyone can help out, that'll be great. - CKTurbo128 NOTE: The DOS programs never crash/close; it's just minimizes the program and switches to XP when I try to run it.

DOS Programs Under XP - Won't Stay Maximized!

I closed all the programs that were running (including those in the background), but the problem is still occurring. Is there anything else I could do to solve the problem? - CKTurbo128

Help with DOS Games Under XP - Sound

For some reason, I can't get DOS games like Master of Orion to run with sound. Previously, before I upgraded to XP, all the DOS games I had were able to run with sound under ME. I have a Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer sound card. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? - CKTurbo128
