Can someone assist? I have a Acer laptop on a network running w2k with active directory. Laptop runs w2k, The laptop keeps automatically locking the desktop after about 15mins of inactivity. I have tried various power sav settings to no avail, done the reg entry to stop the use of lock desktop with no change. Active directory is not pushing any policies to the group this user belongs to, very baffeling this is the ony computer out of 120 runnin w2k on this server that is doing it. Thanks

In XP when in my computer or explorer my system has stopped up[censored] the contents of the cd's inserted. The ICON for the first CD inserted after a boot up is kept there and the contents list remains the same as well -- really frustrating!!! Any Ideas?

I have a large W2k Network using active directory, is there any way to force a network print onto every user's profile so they dont have to install it and set it up on every machine they log onto. This is very frustrating in a school situation. Hope some one can help
