ur right, when i had 98 the ps/2 port was so slow, then i upgraded to ME and my mouse movement was smoother but ME just sux ***. I formatted and went back to 98 but the mouse smoothness and some other features stayed. how i have no idea :\ but it was pretty cool

but i know that usb is faster and better but i guess ill live without it

well, sorry to bust ur bubble but i belive the asus a7a-266 had got some usb prob's or at least mine does

id stick with asus they are a really good mb company something like the a7n-266 with the n-force 415 chipset
