Man what a pain 3 different machines all hang at 60% at oem.bios WTF is that. it does it with XP home oem and retail and XP pro oem and retail. Even have factory disks and copies makes no difference tried MBR still same only thing that worked was useing corp version then chang key but thats a pain when they have valid key. anyone have any ideas ive stripped them down to just vid mem board processor still same.

Its a 266, the multiplier is factory at 16 and ever since bios 1015 it had support for 333 mhz but i wouldnt even try it at 2650 lol.

Ive been using the bios they said worked wich is 1012 and everyother one up to 1016 still think its somewhere in timming cus 2100 works fine if it didnt boot at all with 2600 that would be diferent.

Anyone have trouble with new atlons on A7V333s ???? like say 2600s?? I have the origanal processor which is 2100 works fine, tried 2 different 2600s and boots but wont go into windows. put 2100 back in works fine. got new 2600 wont go into windows. Tried both 2600s on different boards and they both worked fine. Memory is Corsair pc3000 and tried all mem timmings ect. 2.5 2 2 2 5, 2 2 2 2 5, (2.5 3 3 3 6 default) tried at 4 to 5 and 1 to 1 wich runs memory at 333 or 266 thing that bugs me is 2100 works but 2600 dont grrrrrr and both 2100 and 2600 work on different boards
