They could use AD and push some software with ZAP files.The clients have to have rights to access add remove programs, and install programs. The ZAP files are not hard to write, and can only be published not assigned.(use drop down list and selectZAW files instead of .msi)

I have never tried that particular function.When a user logs on and opens a file it is saved into their profiles my documents.I havent tried before as I said but you could try having them save any files they create in another shared folder on the hard drive that is not in their profile.Another thought would be to save in the all users folder.

That option is not available in XPHome.You can share other folders,(I will have to go on memory as I switched to PRO) Right Click on the folder you want to share select sharing accept the warning and check the box to share the folder. Then add a new user that corresponds to the user on the other machine that is going to have access.If XP's firewall is enabled you have to disable it to allow access.

I have had good luck by having my view set to show all files then go to documents and settings\%username%\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook copy all files in that directory to either a CD/other drive/other PC/ zip drive. Then after the format and install of the OS and outlook 2002 and setup the email then copy the previous files into the same directory on the fresh install.

If you want to add IE6 to the image,put the complete install on the cd. Then in the WINNT.SIF file add a [RunOnce] section with the path to the setup file.This will on install after the OS is installed continue and add IE6. The only problem I have had is that I could not get it to do a full unattend of IE6 I had to accept the EULA and click OK a few times. Users added to the users and groups in W2K server if I remember correctly do not have the right to logon locally by default. If you want any to have the ability, you must add them to the ACL, or administrators group. A quick easy way to check is to add a new user and then try logging on to the server.

Have you tried to just input the send to information and then the subject and beside the send is an accounts button click it click hotmail and then send. This is of course using microsoft outlook I am not using outlook express and it does not have that option.

Possibly privacy settings set to high.They dont allow the cookie from those sites so not allowed to them.

Did you hook the modem up directly to the computer first and setup the DSL? The ISP registers the NIC cards MAC address on their servers as having permission to access their service.After the initial setup is done, then put the router into the equation. I am not familiar with that router, but SMC has a clone MAC address on the router, which lets the ISP always find that particular MAC address no matter which NIC is used after the initial setup. Some DSL service providers actually have a setup wizard to do the initial setup for you.
