Thanks. Ever notice how many UK and Australian people post here? I just notice.

Yeah, Lucent Winmodems are usually supported by all OS's because it is quite generic in types of winmodems anyways.

Many times I have installed VMware on my system, but haven't really got fully familar with the software. Is it worth using? Maybe to even test something out like Linux on? Thanks

Quote: Would be good idea if only there was a single HDTV station online. There are plenty of stations that play HDTV. UPN for example plays Enterprise in HDTV. A number of sports and news stations play close to 100% of their programming in HDTV. You just have to find them. In 10 years, it will be necessary, not recommended.

Quote: Isn't it integrated with SP2 now? I think, but he is talking about the XP version and I'm sure the 2000 copy works just the same. -
Quote: XP But you don't know the reason I'm laughing at him. Less than 6 months ago (just how long has the VBB been closed now?) he never would have said that. I see, I see

Quote: Do you mind if I laugh at this now? And which OS are you using? Yep.

And they toned down the gore, which was the game itself The deaths remind me of something in the original Wolfenstein 3D

Fans, Windows, Lights? Are you building a car or a computer sir? DVD-RW is probably an "over-doing". DVD aren't even standard yet, nevermind DVD burning. I would stick with CD-RW for a long time

You could try switching to Standard PC in NT and then you can change things. ACPI tends to choose what IRQs go where, but I don't see it being a problem. I have used Me with 512 MB RAM, but after about 256 MB, you don't see a difference unless you are using a good OS.
