Having a problem with trying to get Oni running under windows XP. I run it, it goes through the opening movie just fine, then crashed after that finishes, with the spectacularly unhelpful error message "Damn, Oni crashed." No idea as to why, nothing in the logfiles as to why, just...died. System specs: AMD K6-II/400, 380mb RAM, XP Pro Build 2600.00, nvidia GeForce 2MX 32mb card using detonator drivers 28.32 (latest)..etc.

Well i fixed it, albeit by accident. It runs sweetly with my new mb,chip (duron 1gig) and graphics card (GeForce 4 MX440 DDR). *shrug* some you win...

Its Oni. Escaping past it doesnt help, and theyve never released any patches for it. Some people seem to be able to manage fine with it, others have graphics issues. Mine just fails to work.

No dice. 2.0 does no good (win98 or below mode just flat out refuse to run, win2k mode gives the same "Blam! Oni crashed" error. 2.5 failed to install. muttering something about it needing a 32bit OS (and Im running windows XP?????) This is crazy. I've had it running on XP before..but I dont know what was different back then..
