Hi guys. I have a strange problem. I went to install Madden 2002 on my machine, a P-II 400MHZ w/128M ram, running Win2K Pro. S.P.2 and it all when well until the very end. I skipped the registration cuz I was too eager to play:p This is the point when my machine locked up. I waited quite a while to see if it would attempt to recover, but no luck, I had to reboot. Once the machine came back, the cd started, I got the gui, and tried the game. It told me the file was corrupt. so I rean the re-install, which discovered the previous intall, and uninstalled it, then started to install it again, but errored out saying there was a previous version found. I again tried to uninstall it, and reinstall. Same thing. Then I tried to remove it with the add/remove programs form the control panel. It showed up there, but only as a 4 meg file that will NOT uninstall no matter how many times you I try. Now it seems stuck in this inane cycle, and I can't get my fix of MADDEN Can anyone help?? Hey guys, I have a problem that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I tried to install Madden 2002 on my Win2K S.P.2 machine (P2-400, 128 Ram) and it locked up right at the end of the install, just past the point that I skipped registration (I was too eager to get it running ) So naturally, I had to hard boot, and when the system came back up, it said that the file was corrupt, so I ran the reinstall from the gui, but everytime it tries to install, it says that it found a previous version, and tries to uninstall it again (which seems to finish) but I am now stuck in this vicious cycle. Can anyone help? I'm stuck without my MADDEN! Thanks in advance for any and all ideas!!
