Quote: Cool, I was not aware of that & figured a whole 23 cu. in. diff. from 360 motors would still be smallblock motor... live & learn! it's the config of the block itself. not so much the displacement. chrysler also made a 400 small block. which was no more than the 273/318/340/360 thick walled casting bored all to hell and a 2 foot stroke. it turned out to be unreliable and they stopped making it. to my rememberance the 383 was the smallest of the mopar big blocks. the 383/426/454 all used the same casting. (more useless trivia) ps. btw a quick check between the mopar big/small block the small block has the distributer in the back straight up and the big block has the dist. in the front at about 45deg. (even more useless trivia)

Quote: Quote: Just looked at the new cycle world, and it happens to have a turbo charged NOS kit in it. The bike is pretty sick...I'll try to grab the mag on my lunch break and scan the pic. It's pretty ruthless. Does it come with a matching coffin? too funny i know the guy who owns the wlsr for "open" motorcycle (or used to own it) 256 mph or sunthin around there had the priviledge of taking it down the 1/4 mile just to get a little feel. dual kawi 1100's with a very large turbo. 11.40's around 180 mph had quite the top end kick -

(And, I know it is: I lived in Atlanta Ga. from 1995-1999 (almost 2000)). APK after seeing that pic of the tricked out one i think it would be neet to dress up the little car. i get hit on all the time in this car who woulda thought huh. -

Quote: Yeah, utterly hilarious. Hmm, no, wait, it isn't. But hey, for a country with few exports worth a damn (wood, maple syrup, snow, etc) it's nice to know that comedy is now, officially, not one of them.

i have never not had that active since win 98 anyway. we dont want the bios and the os fighting over irqs the os does just fine on it's own
-
really? why
-
sweet have fun

it wasnt an actual "it wont work" it was more implied by the article. im pretty sure it was a hyperthreading white paper from intel. but there is a lot to read and i havent found it yet anyway for some reason i think it's the acpi. i always have acpi on and i can activate and deactivate ht and the system updates when i boot.
-
thnx for the vote apk i thought i read somewhere about ht being tied to acpi (in other words acpi needs to be turned on) im looking for it. is there a reason not to have acpi on?
-
there is something wrong even if u instal then activate ht it'll still read multi processors works better when u do it right though. ive installed mine many times and turned ht on and off and dont have probs. did you install xp yourself? what build is it? did you install any raid/sata/scsi drivers using f6 at install get any errors during install. acpi on? bios acpi active? pnp os yes without being at home is cant remember any more right now. check what the other guys posted too
