absolutely did anyone else notice that censors cut parts out of the original bugs bunny cartoons??? the parts where people shoot each other or themselves. watching bugs bunny as a child (60's) often gave me urges to shoot my friends or myself. (wtf) we also had no gun locks.... but we were told not to touch the guns so we didnt imagine that

i havent figured out why. ive never used anyting but nero until recently (alcohol 120/winiso) btw alcohol 120% rocks

a image of the original xp cd i was playing around with the slipstreaming stuff that mr dosfreak posted. after i slipstreamed xp sp1 (with winiso) and went to nero to burn it, nero recognised it as a bootable iso. so that lead me to test just making and image in nero of the original xp build 2600 cd. when i burned the image it was bootable. i made several copies and they were all bootable. accident?
-
with xp i just made an image of the original cd and nero burns it as a boot cd with no changed settings.

hey i get to start a new question thread... friend has hp pavilion laptop /w xp home. he gets an error message when he logs on now that says "security policy does not allow this person to log on interactively" ooops i am unfamilier with xphome so im not sure how it happened. he has no other logins. i sure could use the hp default password for admin so i can change the policies back. any other suggestions
-
he has a wife and children that love to play with buttons. although changing sec policies isnt the easiest thing to do it happened. from what he told me is that one day everything was fine, and the next he couldnt login. i will try those things... thnx

here is another idea very similar to yours ron http://www.monstermachines.net/server.htm these things are very neet. we use one of these for our centralized engineering files. redundant disk arrays and single point backups ps it acts just like a "server" allowing browser access for control and security so each man can have a folder only accessable to him
-
thats a good idea too i meant adding a another computer. kinda like a server with no responsibilities. a pda will almost do the trick. it can sit on the floor of the coat closet
-
u could put a dummy "user" on the network mapped to everyones my documents. i did this in the past and it worked fine
-
i know this will get some in a twist.. but in the hundreds of thousands of operational hours i've had less failures with ibm than anything else

dont think they can be "formatted" it's just the same as normal ram. formatting for lack of better term is done on the fly. odds are a few blocks are bad
