verify the new graphics card works in another system? could be the card is just bad

u did have an infestation i think gator is pretty bogus and whould like to meet those peeps face to face. i use norton firewall and it tells me anytime a program tries to access ANY ports (including loopbacks) i worry less about spyware now and i report malicious programs and websites

my leadtek 4200 keeps being read as a 4400 then fails to start (of course)

exactly when i get home im going to try and open every program i own and see what happens

wow, ive done some pretty large solid models that take a gig total but they arent very common.

dunno about oc p4 xeons mine run at about 50c now... intel says they can go to 75-80c but man o man thats hot.

i got a dual 2.2 xeon thingy just recently. it rocks tried to multi task it to death but it's hard to keep up with. i wanna try some vid capture on it.... and some dvd encoding

no i havent heard that. im gonna do some research turning it off killed my hd from constantly caching so i assumed it still worked. the ibm drives arent near as bad as the seagate drives for that annoying click click, but my hd's never do anything 'cept load programs. of course my scsi controllers dont work as well in xp so that may have something to do with it. :x

if u havent already turn off your pagefile executive that should keep the hd from using it until its nessesary

yep yep some apps... specially games require a nice big pagefile to play without getting all **tchy about virtual memory. hero's4 is a pain some of the better apps like pro/e and sdrc use a pagefile as a last resort

i do know that exchange (previous to 2000) is a pain to setup on w2k server exchange 2000 works very well
