I did a search and couldn't find it so.... I re-installed Mafia after not having played in a long time. Whenever I try to load a savegame or go through any kind of menu, I get tons of garbage on the screen and can't see anything properly. This also happens in the game as well. I am running a P4 1.8 GHZ, 512MB SDRAM and a Radeon 7200 64 MB, DX 9 and Catalyst 3.0. This happen to anyone else? Or am I SOL?

Quote: I recently got a Radeon 9500 pro, so i am looking to get rid of this card. It is brand new, just got it in december. This card retails for around $200. I am selling it for around $100 even and i will pay the shipping. That is pretty much the same price i bought it for, after rebates and all. Card Specs: AGP: 4x RAM: 128mb Clock: 275 RAM: 300 Im not too sure on the clock and ram frequencies but i think they are pretty close to that. It is a good card and for that price you cant go wrong. Most GF 4 MX cards sell for that much. So your getting a card that is waaayy better than the MX for around the same price. Do you live in Canada or the US?

Could be blocked at the firewall.......

Answer to #1. If it is a warez copy, good luck. Answer to #2. By far one of the most difficult things I have EVER done in a game, I got sick after about 5 hours of trying to win it. The savegame is posted all over the place on the net.

Is there any way to configure which services start with each user? Here is an example. I have my account, which is admin. I use it for normal use. I would like to create a gaming account where no services start except RPC, Plug & Play and DHCP client. Is there a way to do this? Thanks guys.

Hey guys, Here are my system specs: P4 1.8 GHZ 512 MB SDRAM (PC 133) 40 GB HDD (set as Primary Master) 16 ASUS DVD-Rom (Set as primary Slave) 12x8x32 CD-RW (Set as Seconday Master) Radeon 7200 64 MD SDRAM AGP Windows XP Pro w/SP1 installed Every once and a while, my comp will freeze and I lose the CD-RW. I've changed IDE cables, re-installed the the hardware (through the add hardware in XP), hell, I've re-installed from scratch. This same issue happened on my old machine and now I am thinking that it is hardware issue with the CD-RW, and not my machine, but I don't know for sure. Has anyone else every seen or experienced this? I had read somewhere that Nero (which is what I used) would cause the device to disappear in XP, so I removed it but the issue persists. Also, I have noticed that when I go to reboot my machine after installing something like a Windows Update, my comp goes through the BIOS checks and then hangs when trying to load XP. It seems that the HDD is constantly accessed when rebooting, and I suspect that this is the problem, but I have no idea how to fix it. If anyone has ever had this issue, help would be greatly appreciated on how to rectify these problems. Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys....I was pretty sure I couldn't do it, but I figured I'd ask the experts....

When was 2.5 released? It seems like 2.4 was only released last month....
-
I have never had an issue with Payne and XP. I've gone from a PIII 550 to a P4 1.8 ghz and I have yet to see a problem....
-
I'd go with XP. It seems to handle DirectDraw and OpenGL much better then 2k.

MOO2? Wat is that?

I have a wierd rebooting issue. I just upgraded to 512 MB RAM, and now, when I reset my machine, it doesn't boot. The CMOS goes through the checks and gets as far as checking the floppy, but then it stalls. I'm Running the following: P4 1.8 ghz ECS motherboard (not overly sure on nthe type, I haven't had the time to check) 512 MB RAM 64 MB Radeon 7200 SDR Soundblaster Live! 5.1 40GB HDD 20GB HDD 16x DVD-CDROM (Asus) Generic 32x8x12 CD-RW Windows XP Pro Anyone have any ideas? I have checked, double checked and triple checked and every hardware component is attached and placed correctly. I'm thinking that there might be a cooling issue (i hope not) but I don't know for sure. Also, if I cold boot the machine it works fine. Any ideas?

Thanks guys, I'll do that when I get home and post if it worked or not.

It's 2x256... And yes, I know for a fact that everything ran fine before I put in the new memory. Could the memory be bad?
