    lower-case script...

Quote: Enable Joliet when burning the disk. This creates a secondary file descriptor with less restrictions than ISO. For manipulating file names, try some Perl scripting. Much more useful than batch files. You dont know any script, really dont know anything about scripting or coding...

    lower-case script...

when I burned a disk with a lot of .txt files on the work, they of some strange reason came in capital letters, and many '_' ... very annoying. To save time, how do I make a .bat or like that renames stuff to the same but just changes from capital to lower-case letters? (OS MSXP)

    Irretating network problem...

Well, sorry fot not mention ... XP is the sys. But I just want it to be like in windows 98 ... that you just can enter a computer on the network and se his shares without being forced to use a pass. I know that works without adding users to the user accounts

    Irretating network problem...

The prob. is that My friends computer (we can call it A) cant acces my computer witout typing a password, It hasent been that always, and I dont know how to stop that, I want him to connect to my computer without the pass. And when I connect to his computer I dont need a pass. so I can se his shared files directly... HE wants a pass so that just I can login to that computer, no one else. So, how do I remove the pass. protection, and how does HE add it..

    Temperature on a WDC 80gig

    Temperature on a WDC 80gig

Well VIAHM dosent support that, but thats cause they have no reason, MBM does, dont know about Probe. What I do know is that Dtemp and MBM does, and that it is a physical function inside the drive. And WD dotn have a tool what I have seen. On the ibm on the otherhand the function is on, and I can se the temp, WD states that there is SMART functions in therir drives, and there is one to, but the temp seems to be diabled by some reason. Ive mailed WD but I dont think that they will answer me on that...

    Temperature on a WDC 80gig

Nono, I dont mean that, I mean with a app like Dtemp ... then you can se the internal disk temp with the SMART function avalible on the disk.
