  1. I've tried to customize my Windows2003 in a way I have new icons for all standard desktop icons. I also tried to modify the icon associated with a folder. Seems there are 2 types of folder: a folder and a datafolder. Anyway, I only changed the icons, but after I did this, my folders didn't open correctly. When I opened a folder, the standard opening action was "Find", so instead of the contents of the folders, I had to push the "Find" button do display any file. I managed to set the defaut to "open", but since then, all folders I open are displayed in a new window. (I'm quite a tidy person, so my drive has many folder, you can't imagine the burden when I want to open somethings which is 8 folders down the root). Since then, I use the tree-like explorer, but I'd like my settings back. Is there a way to restore the folder and datafolder association? If there isn't, can someone give me the complete command for opening? I cant view the default setting properties, since it's secured or something. Thank you

Boy do i feel like a newbie...WIn2k Audigy

Quote: well... yup, pulled the audigy from the pc and rebooted with no problems. hmmmm wonderfull job CREATIVE LABS. great work on you drivers.... ;( obviously if all is peachy when i pull the card, then it was the creative audigy driver kit upgradewhich fubar'd the pc somehow. now i got no sound.... I bet your soundcard will now be named: EMU1K or something like that... You need to install your original drivers from the CD... For those who do not know: AudioHQ is not seperately downloadable from Creative Labs, you need an original CD... I did..

    WMP6/WMP7 Odd Problem with Movies

I still use Media Player 6 to play movies in Win2000, I have installed DivX and Intel Indeo, but now I have a very odd problem: every movie with the extension MPG/MPEG is displayed in full-screen, only showing your original WMP window size. ;( What doe you seen then? You can see the movie, but is had zoomed in very hard. For example, in Gladiator you can only see a screen of 120x120 located somewhere in the middle of the original screen? Hard to imagine? I'll try it this way: 8) |=========| | ["""] | | [__] | | | |=========| The large square is my screen... The small one is the window of my WMP 6. Well, it seems the movie is project on the whole screen, but showing only what is in my WMP window. This way can only see a small part of the movie, heavily magnified... ;( What should I do? Is this a codec problem? WM7 has this problem too...
