Sorry forget the question because when I restarted it started working correctly. Wierd that when I installed that it never said to restart the computer.

Yes I know it's an old joystick but I don't have the money for a new one but anyway my question is why doesn't Windows 2000 Pro detect it? I went to gaming options in control panel and installed it from there but then it says "Not Connected" so what could be the problem? My sound card is Sound Blaster Live!

i hate 2 do this but out of the 11,790 people here there is only 1 person who has an idea on how 2 fix this?

i tried the pci latency patch (all of em) n i tried live!ware n neither worked so any other ways of fixing it would be nice

i have sound blaster live! 5.1 n when i updated 2 the newest drivers it messed up the sound everytime i listened 2 music or watched movies on my comp i always hear scratches n it seems 2 slow down the movie since the music seems 2 be going slower any1 kno wat the prob is?
