    Asus P4B533-E / Intel 845-E

    I've had good luck with using BootPart as an extension to the Win2K boot menu to enable multi-booting and not having to use floppies. Win2K is really a pain on how it handles others trying to boot it, and the standard linux booters... try this it's worked for me. http://www.winimage.com and http://www.winimage.com/bootpart.htm are the pointers I've got ...     I'm using it now. Redhat V7.3 - although I haven't recompiled the kernel yet I'm using it outta the box as 686 kernel, no problems so far. Have not tried to enable all the features yet but, using P4 2.0a G w/512 MB sound works net works (100 mbs full dup) disks work video works (gforce 4 MX 440, 64MB) scsi works (tekram dc960UWF) 50x CDROM works 32x12x40 CD-RW works hmmm.. haven't gotten around to USB and 1398 yet... scanner is project for this weekend.
