we r having problems setting up a network using two computers. One is connected to broadband and the two pc's are joined by a crossover cable. We have run the wizzard and nothing happens. any ideas

well thats our problem then! So cross over is all we needed then. Cheers mate.

tried that I'm afriad and no joy, so we r stuck

no recognition between the machines. tried pinging, the only one recognised is the card connected to the net

help this is driving us nuts. We have two computers. the host is connected to broadband and to the other pc via ethernet cards. Both r running windows XP Pro. We have tried the set home network wizzard, dunt work. We have been faffing with the IP addresses and gateway figures, still nothing happening. Can abody help us set this thing up?
