for some reason when i restart my computer the network settings reset...

Well, my ISP is prodigy...but everyone I know that has windows XP that I've talked with have ALL had this problem...it's really weird...

to my knowledge the windows fix for that problem totally screws up your computer...so I never used it

Well, it seems that sometimes when I'm playing half-life (usually mods such as TFC or counter strike)...every once an a while I'll get disconnected from the server and I'll get an error msg box that says something like: net_sendpacket ERROR: WAESNER that is not the EXACT message...but if you have had this probem and know what it is and the solution, please tell me

actually, there is a serious vuln w/uPnP, so I turned it off XD

SOMEBODY HELP ME! Well, I've set up a network between two computers, both have windows XP. I have file sharing and ICS enabled, so I can use internet on both computers. Now, here is the problem. Every time the computer set up as the internet gateway is restarted...the network settings are basically reset. My internet name + password are reset, file sharing gets turned off, and so does ICS. I cannot figure out why this happens but I would really like to know. Please help me if you know what the problem is!!!
