i recieved this error on my SUS: Manual Sync Started- Friday, March 14, 2003 5:41:23 PM Failed Updates Added: None Updates Removed: None Reissued Update(s): None Errors: Unable to connect to server "http://www.msus.windowsupdate.com/". Verify that your proxy settings are configured correctly. (Error 0x80072EE7: The server name could not be resolved by DNS.) any idea?

its shows up in this format: C:\>xcacls upload C:\upload mycom\user2:(OI)(CI)F the problem is i have lots of folders and i want to list them in users instead of folders name. eg. mycom\user2:(OI)(CI)F C:\upload C:\data D:\docs how to do it? thanks

there is no problem mapping \\newvision_server\2nd_floor_printer in windows however the problem comes when i try to do it in a DOS machine any help?

hi, i noticed on my win2000 pro that network drives always got disconnect after a period of time as showed below. Do you know of a command that can re-establish the connection without re-mapping the drives again? thanks

now the problem i encounter is if i open a file from eg. word and click on "look in" to browse my file from the network drives... it takes 1min to drop down the drives listings.. any idea?

hi, I have a current configuration that consists of C: -> OS and P: -> Program Files on HDD0. I ghosted the C: of HDD0 to HDD1 as i want to use C: on HDD1 and P: on HDD0. But it doesn't allow me to logon to windows 2000. I noticed that HDD1 has become E: instead of C:. any help? thanks

do i apply these steps on the server or on my own computer? Quote: This is set on a per-user basis... So first open up the properties of the particular user. Then go over the the Sessions tab, and there you can modify the Idle session limit. You can set it to "Never" if need be.

hi, i have 3 email accounts configured in outlook express. recently when i tried to reply mails from senders i found that the "From:" field does not reflect the email address that was sent to me by the sender, causing me to reply mails using the wrong email address. has anybody encountered this problem before? thanks
