Allright thanks anyway. I'll try xp on a friend's machine and see if I can get it going.

I'm running windows 2000, and I have tried everything I have seen on the internet (i think so anyway) to try and get this game to run. I tried a silkworm exe file, I tried team 17s beta 2 patch, I tried running it in a compatibility layer... all of which have FAILED. (I keep my win2k up to date by downloading updates from microsoft weekly, so I should have the latest drivers/updates for win2k.) Anyone who has gotten worms armageddon to work in win2k please respond!
