I just installed an Epson Stylus C82 printer and driver. The driver included with the printer was marked compatible with Win2000. As it turned out the driver corrupted my registry. I was only able to boot in safe mode. The event viewer referred to an "Eplpdx02" problem. As a result I could not remove the driver completely and had to reinstall Win2000.
I have read about Epson and the issue of deleting a print in progress creating problems.
Has anyone heard of this problem with this printer and if so what can be done.
