I have an ASUS A7V8X with the Promise PDC 20376 SATA/ATA Raid Controller. I am looking for information about drivers for this device. I have the three different distro's I could install. Red Hat 7.3, Red Hat 8.0 or Mandrake 9.0. Whoever has a driver gets installed. This will be a dual-boot with XP. If necessary, I also have a copy of Red Hat 8.1 (Phoebe), but I'd rather stick to released software for now. Anybody know what drivers may, or may not work with this controller? Windows XP uses a driver called fasttx2k.sys that I got from ASUS. thanks

One caution, I tried up[censored] the Kernel using the Red Hat updater, kabooom, it stopped seeing the array. Have not figured that one out yet. Thank goodness GRUB still had the old Kernel listed. I use two drives striped and it shows up as a Promise Array, just like it did in Windows. Followed the included directions and it worked like a charm.
