Well, I just formatted my system and set everything up.. here's my current rig AthlonXP 2100 Asrock K7VM2 Geforce2MX AGP + Voodoo3 PCI 60gb maxtor (partitioned in 5gb + 55gb = both NTFS) 256 DDR WinXP Pro SP1 And now that I'm trying to install my usb stuff, I'm having a few problems. Whenever the 'found new hardware bubble' pops up, I can install my hardware.. but once that's done, the bubble comes up again. Always with an 'unknown'. No matter how many times I try to install it, the bubble keeps popping up. I've installed the USB2.0 drivers from VIA, as well as all the other necessary drivers. My MS Wheelmouse Optical works fine, but any of my other peripherals (joystick, camera) don't seem to work (bubble problem).. Any insight?

If you've changed all your hardware out before, you might as well format -
Soundblaster Live! and Logitech Z-640 5.1 speaker system.

A 'good' 17" Samsung can match/succeed any 'decent' 19" generic

hah, my girlfriend is having a peculiar problem when she runs microsoft word (XP) Her current system: ECS K7S5A (revision II) AthlonXP 1700 256 SDRAM WinXP Home Well, it seems that sometime during her computer usage (whenever word is running--whether it be infocus or even minimized) her computer will shut down (not a proper shut down, just a power off). My friend's girlfriend has been having problems with her K7S5A and powering off as well.. maybe this is a common issue? Has anyone else had this problem before?

I've already tried clearing the CMOS to no avail.. running at the stock 1500 still creates a random reboot. I can't even stay in the BIOS without it rebooting on me :| Thanks for the advice though, I'll try up[censored] the BIOS tonight and then swapping out the RAM.

Well, here's the current system I'm trying to get going. MSI KT3 Ultra2 athlonxp 2100 w/ a volcano7 geforce 2mx 256mb ddr333 60gb maxtor 7200 32x lg cd I previously had a (generic) 300w .. Well, that was enough to run at 2100+ with random reboots on heavy loads.. But when underclocked to 1.3ghz (1500 spec) it ran fine. But 1.3ghz just isn't good enough when I have a 1.7ghz processor.. so I went and picked up a 350w powersupply hoping to solve my problem. I booted up, ran at 1500. Works fine. Ok, now to goto spec.. put up the bus and run at 2100.. .it just shuts off before/shortly after POST. ARGH! Still can't run at STOCK speeds. What do you think? More power? Bad board? Or maybe should I try up[censored] the BIOS/VIA 4in1s?
