sorry if i have confiesed ppl, i need a password craker for a .zip file that i have locked for security and forgotten the password. I don't want to crack winzip to a full version! so lets start again! what should i use!! thanks in advanced!! 8)

hey, i have win 2k on a laptop and it has a password for the administrator. But it just logs on each time i turn the laptop on so i don't have to enter a password! but it has come up with your password will expire in ...days! and i can't remember the password! is there a utility that can help me ! thanks

ok, my next problem on the laptop is that it has office 200 professional on it! but it is from the guy i got the laptop from. I want to uninstall the pro version and put on my 2000 premium version. however when i go to unistall 2000 professional it says it needs the disk! which is a prob! is there a way round this short of formatting! i have put in my premium version expecting it to upgrade but it just tries to install! The laptop doesn't have a huge hd so i don't really want them both on there! the main reason i want to install my version is that when i use the find feature it asks for the office 2000 disk all the time! arrrrrrrgh any ideas! thanks in advanced!

ok i have a mini home network. Two computers fat32 and can access the shared files but the ntfs computer on the network can not be accessed although it can be recognised and can acess the other puters ! arrrrrrrgh When i try to acces the ntfs machine it comes up with puter\guest which cant be changed and requests a password ! all puters are on XP can anyone help? thanks

okie dokie thanks for that. sorry to be a pain but one other question is there not a domain controller in winxp ntfs that i can use? as it works with fat32!! any reason not with ntfs !! thanks again! im a kinda new to the more detailed buts of networking !

Thanks a bunch guys! got it sorted ! No i am not using it for illegal purposes. I locked a sermon i wrote back in oct 2000 and was flicking through my stuff with my girlfriend and couldn't open it ! very frustrating but it is sorted now! The password turned out to be something that i would never have thought of! i must have been on another planet when i locked it ! and why i locked it i don't know ! still ! thanks again for the responses! much appreciated

ok, i have a mates win 98 (not se) laptop and whenever it boots an internet explorer window opens and trys to connect to the web ! Pain in the ...... i can't see anything in the startup or in msconfig! any ideas thanks Frog

yeah i wanted the standard way of wiring them. I know the electrons do not mind what colour the plastic coating the cable has but i like to do things properly! and as i am learning how to do it i may as well learn the right way! thanks again RF

i am running a home network and i would like to monitor everthing that is happening! like who is loggin on to which machine, when they are logging on and if they are successful. Also things like who is trying to log on remotely! can anyone suggest any software that would do this? Thanks

if u do have an older version of nero you can update it to the latest version on their site www.nero.com as i said above i like nero and know it workds with music cd's but i did try Ez CD Platinum and welll lets just say im now using nero ! but it is all down to preference!
