I try to install C&C Generals, but when it is "configuring windows installer" it gives error 1608: "unable to create installdriver instance". I have windows 2000 and at the moment no service packs installed. I also tried with service pack 1 and 3 but same problem. Could someone tell me what to do??

When I downloaded Windows Installer 2.0 and started to install it said that it already exists on my computer.. And this has only one account which has administrator rights so it shouldn't be the problem.
