first of all make sure you have the latest drivers and patches for all software and games. then check for a bios update with abit. if its a via chipset put the latest 4in1s on. have you played in the bios with the agp settings? if not try a few settings and see what happens. turn off wait for virtical sync. let us no.

is your power supply 300watt? if not it proberly cant handle the card. they take up so much power these new graphics chips.. worth trying.

if you use the made by ati on a none made by ati card the drivers will cause errors. i think you have the latest and correct drivers installed. 4in 1 s have you got the latest? if not download them from via. also turn agp fast writes off...this is known to cause errors on motherboards that do not support it. you can do this in the ati control panel...if you dont have this installed then download a copy from ati...same place you got the drivers.

ive had the exact same error with my 8500 jetway card. solved it by installing the cat 3.2 make sure you chose the powerd by ati driver section.. the made by will kill your card and cause madd errors. also have you got a sound blaster live card? if so make sure you have the latest drivers for it..theres a known issue with it.

im a big fan of that game and couldent play it on xp...so i came up with a fix .... goto this page and download the latest no cd patch. http://www.megagames.com/cracks/html/c900940_0.htm make sure you have both patches installed and downoad the no cd patch to match the number your using. this fixed it for me. also make sure you have the latest graphics drivers.

yeah my little brother had the same problem ..just download the latest driver pack its will sort it. its 23 meg ... but worth the fix. go to this link http://uk.europe.creative.com/support/drivers/welcome.asp put the CT number found in the corner of your card and download the latest there is.

proberly will be fixed in the next bios update...just one of them things if you ask me.

its proberly a bug in the game ..i had to sell my geforce 4 4200ti 128 meg because the game would restart the computer..id duck in the tunnel at the first level and wam... colour screen and restart. patch the game 1.1 see if its been fixed theres so many graphics card probs that i no are fixed.

thoughts for the fightin. its always gonna happen ...theres always a saddam. may as well get rid when we get the chance....mabie it will make the other saddam wanna bes think twice.

upgrade your graphics driver..there have been 2 other updates for it..3.2 is out now.
