Not that it only wouldn't work. It won't even install. I don't know what to do. The install shield just aborts before the installation has even begun. Strange, isn't it?

I am having trouble on XP SP1 , too. But my version won't even install, the install shield engine EXE just crashes, no matter what I try.

Okay, I fixed that. Now I have WIN XP SP1. But still my install shield just crashes. what could I do?

they would not let me download them!! Some whatever key problem. *shrug*

I don't even understand the problem. The install shield just crashes. I can tell the location where to install it to, then the install shield just causes a win error and is closed. *puzzled*
