can anyone help me. I run in windows xp and when i try to install some games they let me click on install and then do nothing until i start to shut down. they start installing when it starts to shut down and can finish because the computer is turning off. Please help.

It happens with nba live 2000 and abes oddessy specifically for my computer. any ideas?
