after lot of searching and trying i landed on this site..and want to know if my sound card AC'97 ICH4(82801db AC) is supported on redhat-8.0.
i have already done lots of searching...and have tried following..
1.tried alsa,not working (alsa doesn't supports my card)
2.tried OSS commercial version.(works but i the version i downloaded was trial version so that driver will work only for 20 minutes and will expire after 30 days).
wanna try this patch but this is for kernel 2.4.18.18 but my kernel is 2.4.18.14.
