HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT This is the default registry settings that NT4/2k/2k3/XP assigns to anyone who is new to the computer. HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18-blah-blah-blah is your current logon, which at first is an exact copy of the .DEFAULT key, until you use your account for awhile. Which one are you?
