Thanks everybody, I've just tryed the last msi bios ver. 3.5 but w2k frezees everytime it is dealing with the HD. I've already change the disk there's no good news... Pc configuration is: mobo MSI-6199Va BIOS rev. 3.5 CPU PIII 450MHz. FSB 100MHz. Ram 128mb Corsair value hd WesternDigital 40GB or maxtor diamond plus8 40GB (both disks are ata 133) video (old) S3 AGP. 52X cd-rom. Bios suggested by sapiens74 is wrong version, bios suggested by Brian to try out (now using release 3.5). Still nedd help! Thanks MArco.

Sorry mobo is msi-6163VA, VIA chipset...

I'm trying to install win2000 on a MSI-6163 mobo, but during setup process w2k hangs. I think it's a bios problem, but MSI web-site doesn't help me! I read on this forum there's a compatible bios to let win2000 boot. Anyone can help me? Best regards, MArco.
