i use intel celeron
monitor is lg studioworks, which red hat recognised correctly and there was no problem.
initaky it used to work fine for two months then suddenly for no rhyme or reason the xserver failed to initialise.
iam using rh9.
my x server used to work just fine and then one day for apparently no reason at all the x server failed to start. now i can only log in in text mode
i checked the x configuration file. it seems fine.
please help me.

i dual boot red hat 8.0 and win xp.
recently when linux boots i get an error message while setting the system clock 'segmentation fault'
i get thje same error message when the system shuts down or reboots.
the clock in bios and windows is alright but the linux clock is wrong

the clock is not synchronised at either way and i get the wrong time
my bios clock and windows clock is alright
this happened after i had to reboot the system manualy (ie the switch at the front of the box)
