ok.. umm this file doesnt exist here /opt/j2sdk_nb/j2sdk1.4.2/jre/plugin/i386/ns610 i do have a /root/j2sdk_nb/j2sdk1.4.2/jre/plugin/i386/ns610 containing that.. problem is... ive tried linking the 1 at the root to /home/neus/.mozilla/plugins... doesnt show up under the plugin page, and i tested and it didnt show the applets still... *edit* should i put the plugin where you told me, or to /usr/lib/mozilla-1.4/plugins/ ??? i dont understand all this file junk and where to put yet really...

lol.. fixed it again... took me awhile to find it, but i could easily open menudrake and just tell it to save and it modifies it back to normal... sry

yeh, i tested it at multiple sites the 1 u gave, homstarrunner.com, etc... all i need is java to work now

ok, how can delete all the old java files and start over with installing java? maybe that'll get it to work...

Never fear people, i have finaly solved my first problem by myself.. sure it took me 45 min to remeber the alt f2 command... but hey.. i finally remembered... i think it may be the lack of sleep im getting since i got linux... lol.. 2 nights so far, and ive had a total of about 10 hours max... oh well.. back to my plugin problems...

ok, i have mozilla, and i tried installing java and flash again, and failed... should i wipe out the old directories that i made such as .mozilla inside my /home/username/ files? if so how do you delete the hidden files? *edit* also now when i go to a site, instead of it poping up sayin i need to download, it just shows the plugin icon, and does nothing... (but it isnt loading the plugin) *edit again* Ok, got a bigger problem now, my konsole dissapeared, look for more details in that topic, please help solve that one first... i want my konsole back *edit again... again again....* Hey i solved my problem.. got some shortcuts back up, but i found it still worked with the alt f2 then type konsole in.... so im good.. still need help on plugins tho
