I'm learning how to program in C now and looking for a good IDE which could make my life alot easier=) Could anyone recommend one either than KDevelop? I've tried KDevelop out and it's a little too complicated for me.

Could anyone point me to any resource where I can learn more advanced C. I'm learning C from a book and it's kinda basic.

I'm using Anjuta and I'm really happy with it. Thanks for all your help guys!

You might want to use a keylogger or a trojan. I used to use Trojans many years back to monitor my own PC from school.

I'm sorry but there aren't. You'll have to get Cedega which costs $5 a month for a minimum period of 3 months.

I mean something like KDevelop but simpler to use.

Actiontec serial modem andd creative sound blaster live value

Your sound problem has been faced by MANY MANY people. The problem lies in the sound volume controls. Right click the speaker icon at the top-right hand corner of the screen. Then check all the bars. -
I used the built-in cd-burning feature in Nautilus to burn my photos to disc and my DVD player can display the photos.

I use the Fx5500 and it works great. Can play DOOM 3. I agree that nvidia makes great GNU/Linux drivers. The ATI drivers kinda suck. Too bad the nvidia drivers aren't FOSS.

I am using the Realtek AC97 as well and it works perfectly for me. Are you sure it's not detected? Got to SoundCard Detection to check.

Just play around with the bars on your sound-control. It should work. -
I currently have a FC4 box connected directly to my cable modem but now I would like to connect it to a router using an ethernet cable. How do I go about doing this? The router Im using is the WRT54G btw.
-
Probably. But now my router is just beside my PC so I don't need wireless.

I just upgraded to FC4 and discovered that my external hard disk will not mount in the 2.6.11 kernel. I upgraded to the 2.6.12 kernel and the same problem happens. My external HDD mounted perfectly in the 2.6.9 and 2.6.10 kernels. When i type in tail /var/log/messages, I get this. Jul 8 12:24:58 cm245 kernel: usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 10 Jul 8 12:25:01 cm245 kernel: usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -110 Anyone know what this problem is? Pls help!

I've solved the problem. I plugged in the drive and powered it up before FC4 booted up and when I log into my account, it's mounted. Weird. -

I've tried both ways and the problem is still not solved. I'm getting really frustrated now. My entire backup is in that external hard disk and now I can't get anything out. Can someone please help me? My external hdd is formatted in fat32, if that's any help. -

Can anyone tell me where I can get a sound recorder for GNU/Linux. I need one that can record sound that is played on my PC. Cos I listen to Internet radio and sometimes I wanna record songs or when I play videos and I wanna record the audio. I already have Sound Recorder but it doesn't seem to do the job.

I really can't say for sure as rh9 is a very very old OS. I'm pretty sure all your problems will disappear if you use a newer OS like Fedora Core though.
