Try http://www.voodoofiles.com/ instead.

What make or model is it? Sounds as if the drive needs re-initialising. See manufacturer's website about this.

Try resetting Internet Options to default. Https uses SSL for encyption so if SSL is not enabled in IIS, you cannot browse to those pages. See Internet Options, Advanced, Security, enable SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0.

You must have hardware RAID to boot from it, a software raid is no good as the software to manage the raid has to be loaded to boot from it and the software cannot be loaded until its booted - Catch 22. Software raid can be setup when they are Dynamic disks (not Basic) and this is setup is Disk Management. http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=830&page=5 http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308424 http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;314343

Sounds like corrupt sound drivers, remove sound drivers from Device Manager and reboot, then install new sound drivers again. Also make sure sound is not muted or volume turned down too much.

Reboot in safe mode and login as Administrator and check user accounts again.

Havew you tried using the System Restore function to go back to point before installing the game? If not, try doing a repair install to fix your problems. -

Where does it say this? Is the OS or an application? Please post exact error message here! -
I find the best way, is to get hold of Trial versions of Windows 2000 server (you can order disks from MS) and a Trial ver of Windows 2000/XP. Install Windows 2000 Server and DNS on a seperate network, a Ethernet cross over cable would do. and play about with it as much as you like! http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversystem/evaluation/trial/default.mspx

As with any 3rd party s/w check for viruses etc first (just in case).

Sounds like your S3 card doesn`t have enough memory on it for higher res (if its built in then you can set memory via BIOS Setup screen before Windows loads).

Sounds like a problem with driver you are using. Delete existing drivers, download latest driver and install that. http://www.creative.com/language.asp?sDestUrl=/support/downloads

Try mirascan v4.03 from DriverGuide: http://members.driverguide.com/index.php...7=1500&sm=s -
The min requirements for sims2 is much higher than Sims1, did you check the min requirements before buying it? The S3 graphics card is too old and slow to play Sims 2. Try using the -w (window) option with Sims2 by adding option in the game program shortcut e.g. "c:\Program Files\Sims2\Sims2.exe" -w (or whatever)

It sounds like a problem with graphics drivers than XP or SP2. I suggest getting an AGP card which will be much much better than your Intel graphics.

To upload a website to the internet, you need an FTP program to transfer files from your PC to your web site (your ISP will provide details of website address, username etc). I use WS-FTP but there are plenty to choose from, your ISP may recommend one to you. You can also upload a screen saver to your website, and for people to download it, all you need is a link in your webpage to the file. e.g. <A HREF="myscreensaver.scr">Download ScreenSaver</A>

Well, Intel Extreme is one of the slowest graphics chipsets on the market. For example, its about 6 times slower than a bottom of the range ATI Radeon 9200 card. So, it will limit you to what games you can run on it. Doom3, Sims2, Half Life 2 etc will probably NOT run on such a graphics chip. The problem is you cannot upgrade graphics chips on laptops, so you are stuck with the Intel Extreme chipset. So running Works or Office would be ok. A laptop with a Mobile Radeon or Nvideo nForce chipset would have been better for games.

Could someone explain to me the best way to download.......

I never supported piracy and what you suggest is piracy, why not buy the series instead from any good DVD retailer or mail order company. More info at http://www.monduna.com/bt/faq.html -

What version of NTI CD Maker do you have? Currently its version 7. Have you downloaded updates for CD Maker? See http://www.ntius.com/default.asp?p=support/support_main for updates. -
Sounds like the Sony drive is a doggy drive, there are loads of issues with it such as failing to recognise discs esp blank ones. If you do a search on Google, there are 1350 responses all with forum questions about it. I would say get a new drive, CDRW drives are v. cheap these days.

A Graphics adapter is the device that displays your programs on the screen in front of you. Some adapters are built in such as laptops and low end PCs, others are cards which you can slot in such as AGP cards which tend to be faster. To see what graphics card or adapter you have, click on Start, Run and type in DXDIAG. Click on the Display tab and at the top left look at the Name of your card. Tell use what this is, then we may be able to help.

Fix: Copy (not move) autoexec.nt file from c:\windows\repair to the system32 folder.

Exchange is a complex product and too complex to answer here. See http://www.m[censored]change.org for articles on directing mail from one mail server to Exchange.
-
No not possible. You would be better off with Exchange for multiple mailbox access. Otherwise just forward the mail other people require.
