    uncontrollable mouse

Definatly a virus. The virus is probably located in the system or system 32 folder. Deleting the temp wont help. I would disconnect the mouse then reinstall windows after partioning and formatting C:\.

Here is one for the experts.

I rebuild computers as a hobby, there are a couple things you can do. One thing you might want to do if you still have the windows disk is reinstall windows. But first (and you might not like it) is to make a startup disk and boot your computer with the disk. Then select boot with cdrom support. MAKE SURE you have the windows CD and you have your ID key. If you cant find the key, it is located in the registry. type FDISK at the command prompt. (A:\>FDISK) then select delete partition on C:\ Then create a new primary dos partition. (will erase all data including the virus and spyware. At the prompt type Format C: (A:\>FORMAT C:) it will ask you are you sure say yes. Then reinstall windows after that. You will start off fresh. The trojin horse you said about could have been programmed to change its name or copy itself to a diffrent file name. Some viruses are very difficult to deal with even with top Anti-virus software. The best way to ensure protection and complete elimination is to partition and reformat C:\ then reinstall windows. Note on spyware- some spyware removal especially the free software may add in its own spyware even after removing current spyware. The best software should be bought at a retail store and not on the internet. (or downloded) It is possible that your ram chip is damaged too. You could replace it easyly. But would always try fixing the software before fixing the hardware. Most computer problems are software related. A ram chip can be replaced at a very low price. (I have my own collection of ram chips from broken down computers) If this dosent solve your ploblem i would take the system to a professional.
