    Problems with OldSchool games

Try running this stuff on a dos emulator like Abandon Loader. www.angelfire.com/realm/zeroone/ There's also a sound emulator to help your Audigy or whatever remember what it was like having 8-bit Sound Blasters called VDMware. If you're keen you can then start getting real old school. Track down games that fall under abandonware, ie stuff that the copyright has been forgotten about. xtcabandonware.com Have a good one.

    Limiting application memory

I need a fix for an issue I have running old games like Longbow2. I need to limit the amount of memory they access (below 366mb) to stop it from crashing. At the moment the only work around (besides downloading and stuffing around with Windows Compatibility Toolkit) is setting the maxmem option in the boot.ini which is a pain to do everytime I want to fly my helicopter. Any other ways around it? At the moment the only way it works is to set the maxmem option, restart and play the game in Win95 compatibility mode. As far as I can work out I just need to limit the memory the games sees to less than 366mb. Any ideas??
