HELP please!!!! Can anyone help me install day of the tentacle (cd version)? Easiest way...any way? Please help.

I've tried to get DOTT to work on XP and i am having problems getting it to work. I was wondering if someone would be willing to provide a list of steps to help me out, or even just get me started. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently found my old mac version of day of the tentacle and have read in numerous places that this can be run on XP using SCUMM. I was wondering if anyone who has had success with doing this would be kind enough to share how they did it. (I've read the readme file on their site, but i need something that's easier to follow.) Thanks in advance.
