My guess is a bad memory chip. Don't buy Systemax systems again, they suck If you want simple and good tech support, just get a Dell or something like that -- easy and they aren't afraid of sending you replacement parts.
  2. Okay, here's the deal: I just got my system in, Athlon64 3000+ on a Chaintech nForce3 mobo (the one reviewed here). I installed my DVD burner on IDE1, and IDE0 is left empty. I have two SATA drives, Seagate 160GBers. Using the RAID utility I created a 298GB RAID0 array, and set bootable = yes. Fast forward .... I use the Windows XP CD and boot off it. I use the floppy to install the RAID drivers. However here's my first question: Does RAID 0 come up as one drive or two to Windows? Because in my configuration, there are two drives listed. However, it lists them on the same ID: "152626MB Disk 0 at ID 0 on atapi [MBR]" "152626MB Disk 0 at ID 0 on atapi [MBR]" So I'm GUESSING that it's picking my RAID0 array up properly? Also in my BIOS... what should I have my second boot device set as? I tried to see if I could set it as my RAID controller but it's not listed, so I set it up with HDD-0, but unfortunately the PC won't boot off that. Any help you can give I'd appreciate.
