    You probably trying to run them in vesa mode, but new gfx cards aren't fully compatible with vesa. Try run them in 320x200, without sound and music. Then install VDMSound from http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic.php?t=2071, and if you aren't familiar with this emulator, read guide from http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic.php?t=2389
