Sorry for my English! This is my configuration: Win Xp Sp1, motherboard Asus P4P800-F, Celeron 2,70, two 80 giga hard disks and GeForce 4 MX 440. I only use my video card to play films on tv. When my pc is on since 6-7 hours or more the video card command "Play on tv" in system menu (click with the right button of the mouse on the film icon) does not appear anymore and I get this error message: "The Nvidia display control panel extension cannot be created". Clicking on "OK", the message disappears and the other commands are quite normal. Strange is that, if I reload pc, all works normally again. I've no viruses, no spyware and no heating problems.
