    Mandrake 10 - Kernel 2.6 - CMI8738

    Hi, I have a Cmedia 8738 sound hardware and the new Alsa module in kernel recognize it but when I try to play something nothing happens there is no sound. I already try to recompile the kernel without OSS (old sound system) using just alsa but it didn't work at all. Does anybody has a tip? tks
