Hi Newbie but here goes. Trying to upgrade w98 to w2000. All I get5 is 'ntfs.sys' corrupt and setup halts. I have: formatted both hard disks (fat32) removed and swapped and replaced each stick of memory copied all files to hard disk and tried that - same result replaced the ntfs.sys with both a similar and a brand new version torn all my hair out and frothed all over the carpet Now what system is: Intel Plll running at 300MHZ (not overclocked or anything although I normnally run it at 450 mhz) AGP Nv Gforce 9500 128 MB memory Peter
