    shrinkto5.exe ver 1.5

Hi, I downloaded and installed shrinkto5.exe on my xp computer and it works great, even better quality then video purchased copy software. My question regards trying to get it to work on my Win98se computer. I have aspi46.exe installed and when I go to run Shrinkto5, I get a runtime error with a message that says your program can not be loaded because of it's unusual way of closing!! I know or heard, that this program is able to be used on win98se computers. My Ram, Hard DRIve space, and video quality are the same as my XP computer, as is the burner. I would appreciate any help you may have to fix this. Thank You Very Much. miles
  2. Hi, Ever since I reformatted my Buslink 40gb usb hard drive from the original fat32 to ntfs, I have had problems copying files and intermittent non recognition of the drive. I am using a win xp home os. Should I take the usb drive to a different computer running win98se and fdisk, then format it back to fat32 before reattaching it to my win xp machine? Also, can ghost images of my C: drive created on my D: drive for backup, be copied to a usb drive for storage and still be recoverable to restore the C: drive if it crashes? For instance a new C drive is purchased and I want ghost to restore it from the copied images off the USB drive, rather than the ones made by ghost directly to the D drive? Thank you very much. Miles ps . please send any help to my registered email address thanks again.
  3. In disk management i just noticed that my c: drive fat32 80gb running in my win xp home computer, has a 1.95gb healthy empty partition on it!! I bought this computer online and it has worked well. Since this partition is healthy and empty, can I just rt. click and delete it? Or will it corrupt the other part of the drive where the os and files reside. I know this empty partition has no image restoration file or diagnostic software. It is completely empty. Can I delete it? I have another exactly the same 80gb hard drive D: in this computer, but it is formatted in ntfs. It does not show any extra healthy empty partition. Is the empty partition of 1.95gb on an 80gb hd something that results from the drive being formatted as fat32? Thank you for any help. Miles
