  1. Aha, so that's the problem. Thanks for the info.
  2. I was just browsing the web when suddenly the display went all screwed up and the comp froze. So i turned off the computer and tried to restart but when i did this the computer would start but the monitor would not turn on. So then i unplugged the monitor from my Geforce2 and plugged it into the onboard display adaptor but it still didnt work. After screwing around with the hardware for a while i found that if i removed the Geforce2 from the computer and plugged the monitor into the onboard video it worked. So the situation is that whenever i put the Geforce into the comp the monitor does not turn on when plugged into anything. I had the latest Nvidia drivers installed by the way. My comp is pretty crap and old: P3 450Mhz Geforce 2 MX400 PCI Windows XP Can anyone help me coz this sucks.
