i run the task manager and it doesnt show up at all. how do i install recovery console? look for it online or what? i dont know, how do i figure out if its subordinate to it or not? keep in mind im only an amature! when you say %windir% do you just mean the main windows folder under C:\? if so then yes it is.

i have a folder that has nothing but garbage that doesnt do anything in my PCHealth directory....c:\windows\pchealth\uploadLB(which i dont think should be there)\binaries\uploadm...how do i get rid of that? it's an executable file

I desperately need help! I have a lot of ActiveX programs on my computer. How can I get rid of them? There are a lot of .ocx files if i do a search and all of them are ActiveX controls. Do I need ActiveX to run other programs on my computer or is it ok to delete them all? I run spybouncer and it gives me over 200 ActiveX related programs. I run Spybot S&D and nothing shows up, it says there are no immediate threats. AdAware isnt finding much. I dont know what is ok to get rid of and what isnt.
