    I reformatted and did a full, new install of XP. How do i find what chipset i have? Thanks for your input.

    I have a computer which is 3 years old wiht Win98. I reciently upgraded to Win XP. With this upgrade I found my modem did not work nor did my CD drives. I replaced the modem with a mew one, and it works now. My CD drives see the CD's in the drives, but Win XP tells me there is no data on the CD's. Is this a driver problem?
