Is it trying to see a RAID array as both are SATA, try just one HD and see if that sorts it. Silly but you never know.

Update, I have read that our problem could be related to the plug ins for various functions, namely flash and shockwave. I disabled them and it did not crash, hang or anything, however some sites use them so it's not really the ideal choice to disable.

I get the same thing so your not alone. IE7 has issues that exist in the real world but as its not everyone and there is no real pattern, then it becomes something that is not urgent to fix, at least that's how I see it.

Go to Asus website and the download section has a file that will put all you need onto a floppy. I found it so you should too. Enjoy.

ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite in a CORPORATE environment? Any tips?
NinjaGinger replied to shassouneh's topic in Security
Like you I was a fan of Norton but there latest creation is even more problem creating than 2005. I also looked around and decided Zonealarm was the only real alternative. I know a lot of folk have complaint about Zonealarm but when you get down to the nitty gritty of these problems I usually find that they are not using the full suite or has other virus and firewall installed as well. Zonealarm likes to be the only suite on a machine. I tried and tested it with other systems and clean, and with a clean install, (No other virus or firewall) it works flawless. -
A mate had a similar problem last week with the hanging. Does it completely stop? or if you wait a while, does it eventually boot? My mates was taking upto 15 mins. Eventually the problem was sorted by of all things, defragging the drive. Just a thought.

Had the same problem a while ago and it was sorted by entering the BIOS, change the Ram voltage to 2.7 volt, and change the latency settings from auto to 3-4-4-8. It worked for me, at worst it just wont boot, try it.
